Parent Tot Program
Parent Tot program is for toddlers who are twelve months through three years of age. Children are accompanied by a parent or adult into the water. Student to instructor ratio is 10 to 1. Toddler classes are 30 minutes long. Class instruction is in water adaptation, floating, and kicking.
Preschool Program
Preschool program is designed for children from three to six years of age who are ready to go in the water without a parent. Student to instructor ratio is 3 to 1. All preschool classes are 30 minutes long.
One Fish - Introduction to basic breathing drills, blowing bubbles, floating and kicking.
Two Fish - Emphasis is placed on kicking, breathing and self propulsion.
Children’s Program
Children’s program is designed for children from age six and up. Student to instructor ratio is 3 to 1 for Level 1, 4:1 ratio for Level 1.5 and Level 2. The ratio for Level 3 and Level 4 is 6 to 1. Classes for Level 1, Level 1.5 and Level 2 are 30 minutes long and 45 minutes for Level 3 and Level 4.
Level 1 – The beginner class teaches floating, kicking and basic breathing drills.
Level 1.5 - Introduction to rotary breathing, freestyle and backstrokes are included.
Level 2 – Continuing rotary breathing, freestyle and backstroke and diving. Children must be able to swim 25 yards independently for this level.
Level 3 – Perfecting development of freestyle and backstroke. Focus is on mastering rotary breathing and building endurance.
Level 4 – Development of all four strokes. Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly. Introduction to flip turns and racing dives.
Private Lessons
In addition to group lessons, we offer private lessons. Each lesson is 30 minutes long. For semi-private lessons, we recommend pairing children with similar swim levels. We allow for one make up class if needed.
